  • BIOPYRANIA General Assembly marks transition to the project’s second phase

On 1 April 2026, marking the official closure of the first phase of the project and the transition into its second phase, the BIOPYRANIA General Assembly was successfully held online.

The meeting represented a valuable opportunity for all partners to reconnect, exchange updates, and engage in a constructive and insightful dialogue. Discussions focused on the progress achieved so far, while also ensuring a strong alignment on upcoming activities and next steps as the project moves forward into its new phase.

Particular attention was given to the synergies with related initiatives, including the BIOPOLY cluster, which will host its second webinar on 17 April, further strengthening collaboration and knowledge exchange across projects.

The consortium would like to express its sincere appreciation to the coordinators from Maastricht University, and in particular to Katrien Bernaets and Lieke Gerrits, for the excellent organisation and moderation of the meeting.

This General Assembly marks a renewed collective commitment to advancing BIOPYRANIA’s objectives in the months ahead.
